Session planners provide sufficient coverage for a term’s work and provide additional opportunities for independent ‘child-steered’ learning. The session planners also allow teachers the flexibility to select sessions tailored to the needs of their pupils meaning teachers can teach the topic as a block of work or reduce it to half a term if they so wish.
